Professional insurance : Every notaire is covered by an insurance for any damage occurring in their profession with la Mutuelle du Mans assurances – MMA – (département professions libérales, 14 bld Marie et Alexandre Oyon, 72030 Le Mans Cedex 9) up to 150 million Euros per damage without geographic limitation and above, with the Caisse régionale de Garantie des notaires.

Informations about the MMA insurance contract can be retrieved with the broker “La Sécurité Nouvelle”, 81 rue Taitbout, 75009 Paris, tél. : +33 (0)1 53 20 50 50.

Queries and complaint In case of complaint against a notaire without satisfactory solution, one has to write to the Chambre des notaires de Seine-et-Marne, service des réclamations, 40 avenue de Paris 78000 VERSAILLES, attaching a note as specific as possible about the case and any relevant document necessary to the compréhension of the difficulty (article 4-4° de l’ordonnance n° 45-2590 du 2 novembre 1945).
